Jovaigė was established in 1996. The beginning was production of mustard and horseradish with a team of 3 employees. From 1999 Jovaigė started producing pickled red beets (shredded) in glass jars. Since then we were growing step by step and specialize in vegetable processing where beetroot is our main focus.
In 2005 we introduced 5th range production and since then our aim is to be leaders of vacuum packed, steam cooked red beetroot production in Eastern and Central Europe.
Our Product. We believe in this product as it is steam cooked, vacuum packed, which allows to keep much more vitamins and minerals and taste features of this vegetable in compare with boiling in water. It is natural product and there are many healthy ways to use it in every day diet – salads, soups and even sweets. 100 g of cooked red beetroot is 1 of 5 per day of your fruit & vegetable diet.
Our Partners. Beetroot we process are grown in modern Lithuanian farms, which most of them are Global GAP certificated. We have strong partnership relations with our growers as we believe in long term co-operation which assure strong quality conditions of raw material.
Our production site is certificated according to BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (grade A). We export our products with our brands as well with private labels to more than 10 countries.
